Big Beard Barbeq

How did Big Beard Barbeq start? 

It all started in my mothers kitchen. I have always enjoyed cooking and creating new flavors. It started with a bowl, some ketchup, mustard and some sugar and blossomed into a creation. Two questions I would ask myself: What ingredients will make this sauce different from the rest and what are some different flavors that could become sauce. I would make up big batches so I could give samples to friends, family, and people I worked with. It got such rave reviews that I decided to start bottling and try to sell it.

Where did the name come from?

Originally I decided to name my business BoozeBQ based on the fact that I would use bourbon and other flavored alcohols to cook with and create sauces. but even though some sauces had alcoholic ingredients there were still some that did not. My brother came up with a name idea Big beard Barbecue. which is more fitting.However I still wanted to stand out and be different from the rest. so I decided to name it Big Beard Barbeq. I feel like the different spelling helps the brand. "Even though barbecue is similar it doesn't have to all be the same."
